The title of this blog, “A Cookery Year in Coorg”, is taken from my first collection of recipes which I published as a tribute to my maternal grandmother for her patient encouragement of my early cooking endeavours. It’s also a nod to one of my favourite cookbooks from my teen years, Reader’s Digest’s “The Cookery Year”.
